We have updated the operating system images for our root servers. All images include the latest security updates and patches.
Updated Images
- Debian 6 (Squeeze): Updated to 6.0.6 with all security patches
- Debian 7 (Wheezy): New image with current kernel
- CentOS 6.3: Fully updated
- Ubuntu 12.04 LTS: Long Term Support with current updates
- FreeBSD 9.1: New image available
Installation
The updated images are available in the rescue system. For new installations, the most current image is used automatically.
Existing Systems
Existing installations are not affected by this update. However, we recommend performing regular system updates to close security vulnerabilities.
