What is the difference from a self-service cloud server?
With a Managed Cloud Server, we take over the complete management of your server: operating system updates, security patching, monitoring, backup management and support. You can focus on your application while we ensure secure operation.
Can I switch between self-service and managed?
Yes, switching is possible at any time. We can migrate existing cloud servers to managed operation — including migration and configuration.
Do I keep root access?
Yes, you retain full root access to your server. Administrative changes are carried out in coordination with you to ensure system stability.
What is included in the SLA tiers?
We offer five SLA tiers from Basic (99.5% availability, Next Business Day) to Platinum (99.99%, 60 min. response time, 24x7). Starting from Bronze, emergency support is included around the clock. Gold and Platinum include a personal Technical Account Manager (TAM).
Which control panels are supported?
We offer LiveConfig and Froxlor as free open-source panels. Additionally, all Plesk editions (Web Admin, Pro, Host) are available. Installation and configuration are handled by us as part of the managed service.
How does the backup space work?
The backup space is a separate storage area on redundant backup servers. Your data is automatically backed up via Rsync or Borg. We configure the backup frequency and retention according to your requirements.
Can I scale resources at any time?
Yes, vCores, RAM and storage can be expanded at any time. Changes are made with minimal interruption.
How is billing handled?
All resources and services are billed monthly. You individually configure compute resources, storage, managed service level, control panel and backup space. No minimum contract term.
