Where does INGATE offer racks?
Our colocation racks are located at EMC Home of Data in Munich-Freimann. The data center meets the highest quality and security standards with certifications according to DIN EN 50600, ISO 27001 and ISO 9001.
What racks are used?
We use high-quality Schroff Varistar racks with 800 mm width and 1,200 mm depth. Servers with up to one meter installation depth fit comfortably. The doors are perforated with over 80% airflow for optimal air circulation.
Is there a web interface?
Yes, we provide all customers with a comprehensive web interface. There you can view your master data, booked services, assigned IP addresses, power consumption and traffic analysis. You can also set and edit reverse DNS entries.
Are data center tours possible?
Yes, absolutely! We warmly invite you for a site tour. You will receive a guided tour through the entire data center, including all relevant technical rooms, and can see everything for yourself on-site. Please contact our sales team to schedule an appointment.
What PDUs are installed and how are servers connected?
Each rack is equipped with vertical APC Zero U PDUs for both feeds (A/B). Since they are mounted on the side, they do not occupy any rack units and enable structured cabling for optimal warm air exhaust. Servers are connected using IEC C13 (server side) to C14 (PDU side) power cables.
Are special connections like satellite, GSM or directional radio possible?
Yes, satellite, GSM and directional radio connections are generally feasible. Contact us for details.
What billing models are available?
In addition to standard billing, we offer both bandwidth-based and unlimited port options. Contact us for a customized quote.
Is 24x7 access to the data center possible?
Yes, you have access to your rack around the clock — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Access is controlled via biometric systems and mantraps.
Are 24x7 Remote Hands available?
Yes, our qualified technical staff is available around the clock for remote hands services. Whether cabling, hardware replacement or reboot — we are always on-site for you.
Is there a customer lounge?
Yes, we offer a comfortable lounge area for our customers. There you can work during on-site operations, review documentation or simply take a break.
Is parking available at the data center?
Yes, free parking spaces are available directly at the data center.
