In connection with the introduction of the European General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) on May 25, 2018, we have revised our General Terms and Conditions to comply with the new legal requirements.
Key Changes
The updated Terms and Conditions include the following adjustments in particular:
- Data Protection Clauses: Updated provisions for the processing of personal data in accordance with the GDPR
- Data Processing: Reference to the separate Data Processing Agreement (DPA) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR
- Data Subject Rights: Additions regarding the rights of data subjects (access, deletion, portability)
- Notification Obligations: Provisions for notification in case of data protection incidents
Effective Date
The new Terms and Conditions take effect on May 25, 2018. Existing customers will be informed of the changes by email. The current Terms and Conditions are available on our website at any time.
No Impact on Existing Contracts
The fundamental service agreements and conditions of your existing contract remain unchanged. The adjustments relate exclusively to data protection provisions.
